One-Time Activities

Places for one-off activities requiring registration are limited in number. To take part in one of these workshops, you must register in advance. For non-registered activities, the number of places available is determined directly at the booth or in the activity room.

Please note that:
  1. Registration for these activities is only possible after entering the convention (i.e., after your ticket has been scanned at the entrance).
  2. After entering the convention, add your ticket on https://activities.japan-impact.ch/en
  3. The registration opening time for a specific activity is indicated on the website above and is generally 1 hour before the activity starts.
  4. You cannot register for overlapping workshops (for example, if you are registered for a workshop from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, you cannot register for a workshop that starts at 3:00 PM).
  5. If there are no more spots available, you will be placed on a waiting list. This means that people on the waiting list will replace registered participants who do not show up for the workshop.
  6. [New for 2025] To ensure equal opportunities, a lottery will be conducted among registrations made within the first five minutes. If the number of available spots is sufficient, all registered participants will be accepted. Otherwise, some will be placed on a waiting list, pending availability. Registrations made after these five minutes will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis: they will be confirmed as long as spots remain, or added to the waiting list if necessary.

Another essential aspect of the Japanese language you’ll learn is self-presentation. In this course, you’ll learn how to present yourself like a real Japanese person, and even how to adapt your presentation if you’re disguised as a character!

Finally, for those who dream of going to Japan, a practical course to prepare for a trip awaits you. You’ll learn useful phrases and essential social codes for behaving well in places like hotels, restaurants or stores. This course will help you feel at ease during your next stay in Japan by preparing you for everyday situations.
