Cyril Coppini (@cyrilcoppinirakugo), a renowned rakugo performer and manga translator, invites you to several events centered on this traditional art form, both funny and subtle.

Details

Based in Japan since the late 1990s, Cyril Coppini worked for many years at the Institut français du Japon before devoting himself fully to rakugo, which he now introduces in French around the world.

He has notably performed on the stage of the Olympia in Paris and at the France Pavilion of the Osaka 2025 World Expo. He is also a manga translator and video game translator, with works such as « Le rakugo, à la vie, à la mort », Detective Conan, Dark Souls RPG, and Danganronpa V3 to his credit.
