Meet Mitsune at Japan Impact, a band as original as it is hypnotic, transforming traditional Japanese sounds with modern energy. 🪕🎶

Based in Berlin and formed by artists from Japan, Australia, and Greece, Mitsune has already taken European stages by storm and shared the bill with renowned artists, astonishing festival audiences with their Tsugaru shamisen, a traditional three-stringed lute. Mitsune honors its heritage while boldly reinventing it.

Their original compositions blend Japanese folk, psychedelic sounds, cinematic atmospheres, and musical rituals, giving rise to a contemporary folklore with a punk attitude. ✨
