About Wa Rei Ryū
Kenjutsu and Battōjutsu are the Japanese martial arts most closely associated with the sword. Whether katana or wakizashi, nodachi or tantō, all forms of swords used by samurai are included. For two days, you will be able to try out, briefly and under guidance, some basic strikes and cuts (kihon waza) as well as codified combat situations (kumitachi) using bokken (wooden swords).
This will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about samurai and their martial arts practice at our booth.
