How to come to Japan Impact

Thursday, February 9, 2023

Japan Impact will take place at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), on February 15 and 16 next from 10am to 8:30pm (Saturday) and 6pm (Sunday). Here you will learn how to get to the convention entrance with the various means at your disposal.

Public Transport

The best way to reach the convention without problems is without a doubt with public transport. In order to reduce our ecological footprint and to facilitate travel to the event, we have agreed a partnership with Mobilis. Thanks to this partnership, a day pass "Grand Lausanne" (Zone 11+12) is included directly in the pre-sale tickets! Find out more about the Mobilis zones by clicking on this link.

FAQ – Japan Impact 2025

Wednesday, August 17, 2022
How to register to activities ?
Spots for one-time activities are limited in number. To participate in a workshop, you must register in advance.

Please note that:

  1. Registration for an activity is only possible after entering the convention (i.e., after your ticket has been scanned at the entrance).
  2. After entering the convention, add your ticket on https://activities.japan-impact.ch/en
  3. The registration opening time for a specific activity is indicated on the website above and is generally 1 hour before the activity starts.
  4. You cannot register for overlapping workshops (for example, if you are registered for a workshop from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, you cannot register for a workshop that starts at 3:00 PM).
  5. If there are no more spots available, you will be placed on a waiting list. This means that people on the waiting list will replace registered participants who do not show up for the workshop.
  6. [New for 2025] To ensure equal opportunities, a lottery will be conducted among registrations made within the first five minutes. If the number of available spots is sufficient, all registered participants will be accepted. Otherwise, some will be placed on a waiting list, pending availability. Registrations made after these five minutes will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis: they will be confirmed as long as spots remain, or added to the waiting list if necessary.

Come to Japan Impact by public transport with Mobilis !

The best way to reach the convention without any problem is undoubtedly with public transport. In order to reduce our ecological footprint and to facilitate the travel to the event, we agreed on a partnership with Mobilis. Thanks to this partnership, a day pass « Grand Lausanne » (Zone 11+12) is included directly with the pre-sale tickets on our website!

More info on the Mobilis tarif system, here.

How does it work ?

When you reserve your presale, fill in your personal information (name, first name, age). We will then generate the Mobilis Day Card for you and add it directly below your admission ticket. Please make sure that you always have a valid ticket with you when you travel, so that you can submit your ticket in case of a ticket control. During ticket checks, you'll have to prove your identity, so we recommend that you take a piece of identification with you.

Please note, that this benefit will only be available with presale tickets purchased and will not be included on tickets purchased on site on the weekend of the convention. The day pass is only valid for the day corresponding to the date indicated on the ticket!
