Megumi Watanabe : Japanese workshop

Come and take part in Megumi Watanabe’s Japanese workshop and discover a vocabulary that will give you a better understanding of what Yokai are and where they come from. You’ll also have the chance to learn how to present yourself according to the characteristics of a character you choose, like your favourite manga hero. The final workshop is aimed at those planning their next trip to Japan, and will give them a few tools to help them get by on the ground. These workshops are perfectly suited to beginners who want to learn the Japanese language.

Seisui Calligraphy: Art of calligraphy

Calligraphy, or the art of beautiful writing, has long been considered the supreme form of art in Japan, China, and Korea. This elevated status reflects the importance of writing in East Asian cultures. An artwork represents the spirit of the individuals who created it. Come and discover this ancient discipline with Hiroko, a Master of Japanese calligraphy!

Tanigami : Knowledge Quiz (in french) and Gundam models

Come and test your knowledge of anime and manga with Tanigami! Several prizes are up for grabs!

You’ll also have the chance to build Gundam models, which are very popular robot models in Japan. They don’t require any glue or paint, and have the added advantage of giving you the pleasure of building your own miniature. Tanigami introductions are based on simple models, although there are also larger and more difficult ranges. In fact, you can buy one at your stand and build it on site with our enthusiastic staff!
