Emma Obadina

Wednesday, January 17, 2024
Come and discover the art of Japanese pastries with Emma Obadina, an international pastry chef specializing in this field.

During a workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to make Nerikiri; small pastries made from sweetened white bean paste, glutinous rice flour and filled with red bean paste.

Once the Nerikiri has been assembled, it is carefully sculpted to represent an element of nature, often related to the season.

Nerikiri go very well with Japanese tea, which is why they are often featured in tea ceremonies.

What’s more, if you’d like to try other pastries, you’ll be able to buy them directly from her booth! Mochi, made-to-order dorayaki, cookie, warabi, Dango, Japanese cheesecake… and much more!

Participation in the workshop is by registration only.
