Midnight Blossom

Midnight Blossom, which I manage myself as an independent designer, is a brand offering a range of jewellery inspired by Japanese aesthetics and a textile range made from recycled kimono. As a descendant of kimono merchants, I want to give this garment a place so that it becomes more everyday. It’s a trick I do my best to pull off with creations that look good, but for which it’s more important to me that they beautify wherever they go.

Monoya Tokyo

Monoya Tokyo is a beautiful story between Caroline and Yuji, its creators. The Franco-Japanese couple upcycles old kimonos and other traditional textiles (obi, haori, yukata, etc.) to transform them into various accessories: pouches, cases, wallets, bags, frames, cushion covers, costume jewelry, and more. Everything is handmade by the two creators who personally travel to Japan to hunt for fabrics. The preparation of the kimonos begins at their home in Tokyo; the rolls are then sent to France by boat and reworked in the Southwest, in Albi, where the couple has set up their workshop-boutique. Caroline and Yuji also offer a beautiful selection of vintage jackets for men and women. A must-visit if you appreciate beautiful vintage fabrics and ethical craftsmanship!
